Triton Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of K–12 construction projects. In this role, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of projects, working alongside Project Managers to coordinate documentation, manage workflows, and support field operations.
This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to both project management and field activities, particularly within active and occupied school environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Maintain logs, track deliverables, and support reporting to clients and stakeholders
- Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, and payment requisition reviews
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure timely information flow
- Participate in jobsite walkthroughs and support field coordination efforts
- Support project scheduling and milestone tracking
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and school-specific requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Typical range: 3–5 years of experience
- Open to early-career candidates (1–3 years or recent graduates) for select project locations (Ardsley, Poughkeepsie, Hastings)
- K–12 or public sector experience preferred but not required for junior candidates
- Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
