About the Role

Our client is seeking a pivotal Senior Accountant to join a team where your expertise has direct impact. This role places you at the intersection of technical accounting and strategic business operations, essential for scaling the business. You will translate intricate financial data into clear, actionable insights, partnering across the organization to inform key management decisions and drive strong financial outcomes.

What You’ll Own

 Execute the accurate and timely completion of the monthly close cycles, ensuring general ledger accuracy and proper classification of complex transactions while managing fixed asset activity and all critical balance sheet roll-forward schedules.

 Support audits and tax filings with clean schedules and documentation.

 Oversee the tracking and capitalization of major capital expenditures, ensuring timely cost tracking and proper recording for all investment projects.

 Partner with leadership on strategic financial planning, including the development of comprehensive annual budgets, continuous forecasting, and insightful variance analysis to measure performance against goals.

 Engineer smarter processes that scale cleanly and stand up to scrutiny.

What We’d Like

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience

 Deep theoretical and practical understanding of accounting methodologies (GAAP and/or tax basis)

 Proficiency with integrated accounting platforms; advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros)

 Clear communicator with adaptability, initiative, and a proactive mindset
