Accountant
An organization in the Baltimore area is seeking an Accountant to support daily accounting operations and collaborate with a high-performing Accounting and Tax team. This hybrid role offers exposure to financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, treasury activities, audits, and international accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Review and analyze financial statements
- Assist with audits and treasury activities
- Support accounting operations for international entities
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including HR, IT, and Operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience
- 1 year public accounting experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
