Office AssistantA company in Howard County is looking for an Office Assistant to join their team. This position will report to the office Monday through Friday and the salary range is $40k to $45k, based on experience. This will be a temp to hire contract with the temporary period anticipated to be 3-6 months. Responsibilities:Assist with front desk/reception duties when support is neededAnswer phones and route to appropriate department/individualProcess incoming and outgoing mail and packagesMaintain orderly and clean office environmentPlace orders for office suppliesProcess supply orders and verify accuracy of ordersEnsure conference rooms and kitchen areas are stocked with suppliesConsistently clean out fridge and freezerMaintain office equipmentAssist with billing and invoice processingMaintain organized files and recordsClerical support - filing, scanning, copying, bindingEnter work tickets for maintenance issues Requirements:Minimum 2 years of clerical experience in a Corporate office settingExperience answering phones and multitaskingExperience with billing and invoice processing preferredBasic Word and Outlook skills
