Position Title: Supervising Physician – Part-Time / Hybrid
Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-Site as Needed)
Compensation: $500–$750 per license supervised per month (up to 5 licenses)
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physician in Oklahoma with a current DEA number to serve as a Part-Time Supervising Physician. This role provides supervision and consultation for medical providers, primarily in psychiatric medication management, while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience in primary care is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Physician in Oklahoma with a current DEA number
- Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory or administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated experience in prescribing psychiatric medications
- Experience supervising nurse practitioners or other prescribers
- Commitment to providing services to medically underserved populations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General Expectations
The Supervising Physician will:
- Provide consultation and support to medical providers, including nurse practitioners and prescribers
- Review and help develop clinical protocols, performance objectives, and workflows to support quality client care
- Serve as a resource for clinical best practices and provide guidance on medical and operational issues
- Provide clinical and medical opinions to executive leadership as requested
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical supervision for assigned prescribers per State guidelines, including license endorsement
- Conduct individual supervision sessions with assigned prescribers at least once per month, or as agreed upon
- Be available for consultation with clinical staff regarding medical opinions or client care issues
- Support clinical quality assurance through performance measures and monitoring
- Ensure medical services comply with applicable regulatory and licensing standards
- Promote accuracy in diagnosis and evaluation, adherence to compliance standards, and best practices
- Attend monthly collaboration meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions with program leadership
- Foster a recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and welcoming service environment for clients
- Promote and practice the principles of Sanctuary model commitments: nonviolence, emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility, democracy, and growth/change
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinical leadership
- Retrieve and review client information in compliance with HIPAA as necessary for patient care

Physical Requirements
