The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. This role is responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Med-Surg RNs are responsible for patient education, care planning, and accurate documentation while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
