Quality Control Technician – Weekend Day Shift
Schedule: Sat, Sun - 6am - 6pm.
Work 36 hours - get paid 40.
Pay: $24 per hour
Quality Control Technician
We are seeking a Quality Inspector for the day shift to support machining and manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting machined parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, customer specifications, and internal requirements. This position plays a key role in preventing defects and supporting continuous improvement.
What Quality Control Technicians Do:
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and quality specifications
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges
- Document inspection results and communicate quality issues to production teams
- Identify non-conforming parts and assist with root cause investigations
- Maintain inspection records and follow quality procedures
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T familiarity preferred
- Proficient with precision measuring tools
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently on nights
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
