Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, and functional mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, adaptive tools, and home modifications
- Document progress, update treatment plans, and ensure timely reporting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (PTs, SLPs, physicians, and social workers)
- Provide discharge planning and home programs
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and regulatory standards
- Stay current on OT best practices and continuing education
Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma
- CPR/First Aid certification
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Empathetic, patient-centered approach
- Excellent time management and organization
- Proficient in EMR systems and documentation practices
