Auto Mechanic – Transition to Aerospace
Pay: $18–$23/hour DOE
Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Auto Mechanic – Transition to Aerospace– Must-Have Requirements
- Automotive mechanic experience or strong mechanical background
- Ability to pass FAA-regulated drug test
- Must have own tools
- Experience working on electrical/mechanical components (alternators, starters, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical manuals
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn aerospace systems
Auto Mechanic – Transition to Aerospace – Position Summary
- Great opportunity for auto mechanics to transition into aerospace
- Work in an FAA-approved repair station servicing small aircraft components
- Focus on repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft alternators and related systems

Auto Mechanic – Transition to Aerospace – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and overhaul small aircraft alternators
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble components
- Test alternators for performance and compliance with specifications
- Work on related components such as starters, drive systems, and electrical units
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
- Follow FAA regulations, safety procedures, and company standards
- Document repairs and maintain accurate service records
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Auto Mechanic – Transition to Aerospace – Additional Qualifications
- Experience with alternators, starters, or electrical systems strongly preferred
- Interest in aviation or aerospace industry
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Experience in regulated or safety-sensitive environments is a plus
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
