Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate – Must-Have Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software (ProShop preferred)
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate – Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations. This position combines local deliveries with warehouse responsibilities to ensure materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, understands inventory management, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Delivery & Transportation
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up raw materials and finished products
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other approved material handling equipment
- Ensure deliveries arrive safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Maintain delivery logs and report vehicle maintenance concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and driving regulations
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas for efficient material flow
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and material movement throughout the facility
Inventory Control
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily transactions, cycle counts, and inventory audits
- Record incoming and outgoing inventory using the company's ERP system
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of materials
ERP & Production Support
- Utilize ERP software to track inventory, job status, and shipment activity
- Maintain material traceability through bill of materials records
- Manage inventory pull requests and update job statuses accurately
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed
Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate – Additional Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Experience with ProShop ERP is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation and labeling requirements
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments
