Job Title: Commercial / Residential HVAC & Refrigeration Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $35–$40/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, field-based role responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a remote, service-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Install, service, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
- Identify issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
- Accurately document service calls and work performed.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Company-Provided Equipment:
- Company vehicle (including travel to and from home to job sites)
- Fuel card
- Mobile devices (iPhone/iPad)
Qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC and refrigeration system repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Relevant HVAC/Refrigeration certifications or licenses preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation every 4 weeks
- Overtime as needed

* Install or repair heating, central air conditioning, HVAC, or refrigeration systems, including oil burners, hot-air furnaces, and heating stoves.

* Adjust system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance system.
* Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or changing filters.
* Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
* Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
* Install or repair self-contained ground source heat pumps or hybrid ground or air source heat pumps to minimize carbon-based energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
* Install auxiliary components to heating or cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers.
