Job Overview:
We are seeking a Telecom Project Manager to lead large-scale fiber network (FTTx/FTTH) deployments. This role focuses on managing end-to-end project execution, including vendor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and municipal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of telecom infrastructure projects (FTTx / OSP deployments)
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to engineering design standards, SOWs, and local regulations
- Track vendor performance, construction progress, and project dependencies
- Handle financial reporting, invoice approvals, and material management
- Maintain and manage vendor construction schedules
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Drive project scoping and ensure smooth handoff for network acceptance
- Work independently to launch and manage projects in new geographic markets
- Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions under tight deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Project/Program Management experience in telecom or infrastructure projects
- Experience managing capital-intensive, large-scale technical projects
- Strong background in vendor management and contractor coordination
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and status reporting
- Hands-on experience with telecom infrastructure (FTTx, FTTH, OSP projects)
- Familiarity with GIS systems and fiber network records
