REGISTERED NURSE FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT
POSITION: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
POSITION NO: 010626
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assessment, nursing diagnosis (problem identification) and planning the nursing care for those patients assigned to his/her care. Responsible for implementing and evaluating the plan of care through performance and/or leadership of personnel. Supports hospital and nursing policies. Understands disease process and treatment as well as preventative and maintenance care for patients ranging from birth, adolescence, adulthood, geriatrics and unto death.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current active RN license in Kentucky, or current working permit issued by KY Board of Nursing. Graduate of accredited school of Nursing. BLS required upon hire. ACLS AND PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
REPORTS TO: Chief Nursing Officer
