CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNICIAN PRN POSITION POST DATE: November 18th 2024POSITION: Certified Surgical Technician
POSITION NO: 111824A
JOB SUMMARY: Assists in providing care to surgical patients in accordance with hospital departmental policies, and established standards of care and practice defined by the State of Kentucky. Other duties include stocking, replenishing, preparing and/or selecting supplies and equipment for storage or use during surgical procedures. Assists in maintaining cleanliness in the Operating Room in order to ensure a safe patient environment. Sterilizes equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Experience with colonoscopies, EGD’s and surgical eye procedures preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: Certified in Surgery Technology
Experience in sterile processing a plus
BLS required
REPORTS TO: Director of Surgery
