ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST PRN JOB OPENING POSITION: Registered Ultrasound Technologist, RDMS

LOCATION: Radiology

JOB SUMMARY: Under the medical direction of the Radiologist(s) and Cardiologist(s) and the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, this position requires the technologist to prepare equipment before patient exam, scan and send any paperwork needed for all exams in PACS system. Responsible for the safety and condition of the patients while they wait for examinations. Provides care for all patients.

This position requires for the U/S tech to be certified in Cardiac (RDCS) or (RCS). To perform echocardiograms as needed on patients, administer Definity for contrast studies, do bubble studies if needed. Also the tech will be responsible for Echo stress tests using Treadmill or pharmaceutical.
Currently there is no call.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, registered in Ultrasound.
Experience in Ultrasound required.
