Solution Architect I

Summary

We are seeking a Solution Architect to shape solution options that balance functionality, technical architecture, compliance, and financial considerations. This Solution Architect will partner closely with global and regional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to design scalable, best-practice solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution architecture at the project and small-portfolio level in collaboration with architects, global and regional teams, and business subject matter experts.
• Translate business needs into technical and functional solution designs across architecture domains.
• Review current projects and solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and financial targets.
• Provide architectural guidance for business process design, business intelligence, application development, frameworks, and system interfaces.
• Lead and support solution definition, architecture reviews, solution selection efforts, and adherence to architectural processes and standards.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform solution design.
• Independently manage issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex challenges as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of relevant experience in solution architecture or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into solution architecture and evaluate multiple technical approaches.
• Experience in estimating the financial impact and tradeoffs of solution architecture options.
• Experience designing integrated solutions across process, data, and technology.
• Proven experience collaborating with regional and global project teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

• Experience supporting or contributing to business strategy development.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture.
