Solution Architect (Global Impact Portfolio)
Location: Onsite - Wayzata, MN
Contract: 12-Month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $36-$41/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a global enterprise organization in the hiring of a Solution Architect aligned to a Global Impact portfolio focused on Sustainability and Communications.
Role Overview
The Solution Architect supports the comprehensive high-level architecture, functionality, economics, and architecture compliance of solution options for the Global Impact portfolio.
In this role, you will develop architecture at a project and small portfolio level in collaboration with other architects, global and regional teams, and subject matter experts from business units. You will bring an understanding of both technical and functional design, along with perspective across architecture domains and current best practices, into solution design in support of portfolio capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends
- Review current projects and architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and financial targets
- Provide consultation for business process design, business intelligence design, software development architecture, and application frameworks or interfaces during solution design and ongoing support
- Assist with developing and maintaining solution architecture by leading solution definition activities, solution architecture reviews, solution selection efforts, and adherence to architectural processes, team plans, and strategy
- Independently handle issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Four years of related work experience
- Knowledge and ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
- Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
- Experience developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology
- Experience collaborating with regional and global project teams to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business strategy development
- Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture
