This is a true greenfield initiative requiring a hands-on expert who has guided multiple CRM deployments from initial evaluation through rollout and hypercare. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of CRM capabilities and best practices, has experience comparing and selecting platforms, and can drive process design, technical decision-making, and user adoption across business and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full CRM lifecycle including platform evaluation, vendor selection, PoC, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, rollout, and hypercare.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to define customer engagement workflows, operational processes, data needs, and system requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on CRM architecture, configuration approaches, data models, integrations, and long-term scalability.
- Serve as the internal authority on CRM capabilities, best practices, workflow automation, analytics, customer segmentation, and reporting.
- Partner closely with IT teams to shape integration strategy, data migration plans, and governance standards across banking systems.
- Oversee CRM build activities; validating functionality, ensuring alignment to requirements, and maintaining quality throughout delivery.
- Direct user acceptance testing, release planning, deployment readiness, and post-launch enhancements.
- Participate in change management efforts, including training, documentation, and communication, to drive successful user adoption.
- Advise leadership on opportunities to optimize the CRM beyond initial launch, ensuring the platform evolves with organizational goals.
- 7 years of experience as a CRM SME, CRM Lead, solution Consultant, or similar role with deep platform and implementation expertise.
- Hands-on experience in multiple full-cycle CRM implementations including platform evaluation, design, build, deployment, and hypercare.
- Experience working with major CRM platforms including Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar enterprise-grade tools.
- Proven ability to lead workshops, translate complex business needs into system requirements, and drive decision-making across diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in CRM data modeling, data migration planning, and integration design across multiple business systems.
- Demonstrated success driving user adoption and organizational change during new system rollouts.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence both business and technical teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools for documentation and collaboration.
- Ability to work onsite in the Kansas City or Topeka metro area as needed for project activities.
