Responsibilities
- Design and develop Client-side and Server-side scripts including business rules, script includes, and UI policies.
- Build workflows and automations using Flow Designer and legacy workflow tools.
- Configure forms, fields, and user interface components to improve usability.
- Develop integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Create custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and AppEngine.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing system health.
- Review code and ensure alignment with development and governance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and AI capabilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and the Glide API.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work primarily on-site with limited remote flexibility after an initial period.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, or SAM modules.
- Background in API-based integrations.
- ServiceNow Administrator experience supporting coverage and continuity.
