BI Analyst

Summary

We are seeking a BI Analyst to create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders that provide insights for decision-making. This BI Analyst will use advanced analytics tools to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance dashboards.
• Develop data models in Power BI.
• Create interactive visualizations and geospatial maps.
• Translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Clean and transform data using Power Query.
• Collaborate with departments to address their data needs.
• Support and troubleshoot Power BI reports.
• Work with IT to fulfill reporting requests.
• Provide training on reporting and analytics.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of DAX formulas.
• Experience with Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, and data transformation.
• Experience creating Power BI visuals and map visualizations (ArcGIS).
• Solid understanding of database management and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of API integrations and data source management.
  
  

This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire remote opportunity for our Michigan-based client.
