An industry leading provider of automotive equipment (audio, navigation, video, infotainment systems, etc.) is seeking an Internal Auditor and an Audit Administrator to work at their Novi, MI office to handle the company’s internal control and audits to ensure the organization’s operational efficiency, financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and information security.

  • Direct-Hire with Great Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Short-Term / Long-Term Disability, 401k, Sick Leave, Paid Holiday, Paid Time Off, and etc.)
  • Internal Auditor: $60K - $100K / year (Exempt)
  • Audit Administrator: $60K - $80K / year (Exempt)
  • Business-level Japanese language ability is a must


Requirements of the Japanese Bilingual Auditor / Audit Administrator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Bilingual Language ability in Japanese & English
  • JSox and/or experience in a Japanese manufacturing/automobile industry is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams
  • Internal Auditor:
    • 2 years experience conducting operational or ISO audits
    • Proven experience in internal auditing (in a corporate environment)
  • Audit Administrator:
    • 1-2 years of experience conducting operational or ISO audits
    • Familiarity with Audit compliance and risk analysis


Responsibilities of the Japanese Bilingual Auditor / Audit Administrator:

  • Internal Auditor
    • Operational Audits:
      • Conduct thorough reviews of operational processes to identify inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
      • Create audit report including audit results, countermeasures/corrective actions, activity progress, and deviated plan as needed in the process for company management and shareholders
    • Financial Audits (JSox):
      • Examine financial records, statements, and transactions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
      • Identify financial risks and recommend controls to mitigate them
    • Compliance Audits:
      • Review internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards
      • Conduct audits to verify adherence to ethical standards and corporate policies.
    • Information Security Audits:
      • Assess the security of the company's information systems, data, and technology infrastructure.
    • Reporting and Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation for reference and regulatory purposes
      • Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
    • Other related duties may also be assigned
  • Audit Administrator
    • Assist with planning and executing audit procedures
    • Perform/assist analytical testing on financial and internal operational data
    • Prepare and maintain audit working papers
    • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the organization’s finances and operational procedures (including the accuracy systems)
    • Make recommendations for changes in business unit systems and controls
    • Recommend improvements to inefficient processes and procedures
    • Monitor and analyze financial and operational reports under the guidance of Senior Auditors
    • Support in preparation of audit reports and presentations
    • Communicate with Japan HQ Audit Department and any key stakeholders when necessary
    • Perform other related tasks as needed

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
