Sales Representative in the aviation industry.
- Location: Torrance, CA
- Direct Hire, $44~51K/yr (Non-exempt) with excellent benefits
- Work Hour: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Hybrid (Minimum two days per week in-office, Remote work permitted for remaining days) After the first 90 days for training (Policy as of April 2026)
Requirements of the Sales Representative:
- At least 3 years of related experience
- At least 1 year of PC skills (Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basic formula setup required)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
- Understanding of cross-cultural environments (Japan and others)
- Able to work overtime and business trip as necessary
- Experience in export/import or the aviation industry is a plus
Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the Department’s budget and objectives, and actively promotes company services to customers as an Account Sales Representative.
- Collaborates with the supervisor to identify and discuss new business opportunities, offering ideas to drive sales growth.
- Contributes to team sales efforts to support the achievement of monthly sales and gross profit targets.
- Manages sales quotations and sales orders, obtains supplier quotations, processes purchase orders, and negotiates pricing and terms to ensure best business practices.
- Reviews customer credit status, processes credit renewals, and manages advance payment requests as needed.
- Prepares and maintains sales reports and listings for personal records and team review.
- Effectively prioritizes daily tasks based on urgency and completes assigned work within regular working hours.
- Actively builds knowledge of the aviation industry and aftermarket business to continuously enhance sales skills.
- Willing and able to make occasional business trips to meet customers and pursue new business opportunities.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including occasional after-hours support when required.
