What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Superintendent / Lead Superintendent position at Tribute Companies?
Join Our Team as a Multifamily Construction Senior Superintendent / Lead Superintendent – Asheville, NC!
Tribute is seeking a Senior Superintendent / Lead Superintendent to lead field execution for a 183-unit, four-story multifamily project in downtown Asheville. This is a high-impact role on a technically demanding job featuring constrained-site logistics, upcoming ground improvements, elevators, terraced foundations, large-span common and commercial areas with significant steel and metal, and a steel bridge connecting portions of the building. Site work is underway now, vertical construction is expected to begin in approximately five months, and the remaining duration is roughly 24 months. This urban site has surplus acreage, which can accommodate additional apartment, office, or hotel builds in the future and present an opportunity for a successful superintendent to spearhead a pipeline of work that will span many years.
What you will do:
We are looking for a highly organized field leader with strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to push the pace of a disciplined jobsite without creating unnecessary drama. The strongest candidates will bring superintendent experience on multifamily or similarly complex projects, sound field judgment, credibility with subcontractors and internal crews, and the ability to maintain standards through consistency. Experience with downtown multifamily projects, elevators, steel coordination, self-performed work, and prior experience with respected regional or national builder are all strong pluses.
Additional requirements:
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful Asheville project with real complexity, strong company support, and visible impact. The right person will lead an important job through a demanding phase of construction and establish themselves as a trusted field leader where detail, sequencing, quality, and jobsite discipline matter every day. Our Asheville on-site construction team brings a combined 88 years of experience, ensuring that anyone who joins us is supported by skilled professionals, not left to figure things out alone!
