You will be essential in maintaining and elevating our quality standards. This is a hands-on role where you will:
- Own the Quality System, implementing and maintaining quality systems, documentation, and handle internal and external audits.
- Drive improvement by leading day-to-day activities and improvement initiatives for our Quality and Safety departments.
- Be a Trainer & Consultant, creating and delivering quality training, supporting Operations in areas needing improvement, and training team members on Quality Improvement projects.
- Solve complex issues while serving as the key liaison between Customers, Mill Tech Reps, and Operations to monitor and solve daily steel quality issues.
- Monitor, report, and track quality complaints, audit findings, and report on the overall quality condition and improvement areas.
- Support initiatives that drive our quality vision throughout the company and support management on key quality initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Five (5) years of related experience and/or training, or two years of college plus equivalent experience.
- The ability to handle stressful situations and successfully juggle multiple tasks.
- A dedication to quality and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
