KEY ACTIVITIES
- Oversee the operation of agglomeration machines and related equipment to ensure efficient production of regrind materials that meet quality standards.
- Manage and guide the agglomeration team, providing training on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality control to ensure consistent performance.
- Track the input and output of recycled materials, maintain accurate records, and provide reports on production efficiency, material utilization, colour sorting and any operational challenges.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1-Set up and prepare the agglomeration machine for daily operations, ensuring all parameters are configured correctly for flake production.
2-Load raw materials into the agglomeration machine, ensuring proper feeding to maintain consistent production.
3-Monitor machine performance during production to detect and resolve any deviations or issues promptly.
4-Conduct regular quality checks on flakes to ensure they meet production standards and specifications.
5-Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement to keep the machine in
optimal condition.
6-Identify and address minor machine malfunctions; escalate significant issues to the maintenance team.
7-Adjust machine settings as needed to accommodate different product specifications or resolve process issues.
8- Ensure proper cooling and handling of PET flakes to prevent warping or deformation after production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
10-Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth workflow and achieve production targets.
11-Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
12-Monitor the recycling of scrap materials, ensuring compliance with company policies on material usage and mixing.
13-Keep the work area clean and organized to minimize risks and enhance operational efficiency.
14-Conduct periodic inspections of the machine to identify wear or potential issues before they escalate.
15-Assist in training new operators on machine usage, safety protocols, and production processes.
16-Optimize material utilization to minimize waste and enhance production efficiency.
17-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and product quality.
18-Ensure that all required documentation, such as shift logs and production reports, is completed accurately and on time.
19-Operate auxiliary equipment related to the agglomeration process, such as cooling or conveying systems.
20-Provide feedback to supervisors on machine performance, material quality, and production efficiency for process improvements.
21-To ensure that the colours entering the machine do not mix, to separate the colours according to the rules.
22- To know their own duties in emergency procedures, know their own duties in fire prevention plan, To act in accordance with the manuals, procedures, standards, instructions and plans related to BRC-IOP defined as described on booklets, brochures, etc. that has been given or will be given.
23-Ensuring the quality of the flakes, ensuring the correct barcoding of these products, weighing the products and following the correct transfer to the SAP system.
