Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to fill a dual-function role as a Controller and Customer Service Representative. This position is ideal for a candidate who possesses a strong background in accounting and financial oversight but also enjoys direct customer interaction and order management. You will serve as a key point of contact for our U.S. operations, ensuring financial compliance and a seamless experience for our clients from order placement through post-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Controller Functions:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks and CRM/ERP systems.
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and collections.
Oversee expense tracking, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
Ensure adherence to corporate financial controls and internal reporting standards.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities and coordinate with external accounting partners or headquarters as needed.
Manage credit terms and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Customer Service & Order Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.
Process and manage customer orders, providing accurate quotes and confirming delivery timelines.
Coordinate logistics and shipping with warehouses and carriers to ensure timely delivery.
Handle after-sales support, including addressing customer concerns and managing returns or warranty claims.
Maintain and update customer data within the CRM system to ensure accurate communication and reporting.
Collaborate with the sales team to support business growth and customer retention.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level responsibilities.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with CRM systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a significant plus.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial equipment industries is preferred.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high standard of professional service.
Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
