Lead, AI & Automation Catalyst – Application Operations (W2 only role)
Role Overview
Seeking a hands-on AI and Automation leader to transform Application Support into an AI-first, highly automated organization. This individual contributor role will focus on building AI agents, eliminating manual work, implementing self-healing workflows, and driving adoption of automation across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI agents and automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks
- Identify repetitive support activities and create scalable, self-healing workflows
- Develop AI-driven triage solutions integrating tools such as ServiceNow, Dynatrace, databases, and monitoring platforms
- Automate log analysis, data validation, and incident context gathering to improve resolution efficiency
- Mentor and enable teams on AI tools and automation best practices
- Partner with support teams to convert manual runbooks into automated workflows
- Track automation impact through metrics such as MTTR improvements and manual effort reduction
- Create a reusable library of AI agents and automation patterns
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of IT/Application Operations experience
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, and Vector Search (Oracle or Google Cloud preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, scripting, and automation development
- Experience with ServiceNow, monitoring platforms, and operational troubleshooting
- Proven ability to drive change and influence teams without direct authority
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts
