Role: Sourcing Specialist, Diagnostics Direct Procurement
Location: Tucson, AZ (Hybrid)
Mandatory onsite schedule:
Tuesday & Thursday – Oro Valley Campus, AZ
Wednesday – Marana Campus,AZ
Responsible for executing Direct Procurement Operations activities supporting diagnostics manufacturing, ensuring alignment with Category Management strategies. The role focuses on supplier management, escalations, master data, cost savings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties:
Execute procurement operations aligned with category strategies.
Manage supplier relationships, escalations, and procurement workflows.
Support cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
Maintain master data and ensure accuracy across procurement systems.
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Education & Experience:
University degree, with a business-related degree, preferably a post-graduate business qualification
3 years of procurement experience including contracting, enterprise systems, and spot buying.
Experience supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs.
Exposure to operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
Experience with procure-to-pay and eSourcing tools is a plus.
Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Biopharma, Biomedical are a plus
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage deliverables and meet deadlines proactively.
