✅ Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required (technical school preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle or trailer repair
- Air Brake Certification or the ability to obtain
- DOT Inspector Certification or the ability to obtain
- Experience with welding, ABS systems, and steel fabrication is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Own toolbox with standard and metric hand/air tools
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete
🔧 Job Duties:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on trailers, refrigeration units, and APUs
- Complete trailer repairs including:
- Brakes, tires, suspensions
- Electrical systems and ABS
- Steel and aluminum welding
- Structural, body, and door repairs
- DOT/FHWA inspections
- Road service and emergency repair work as needed
- Maintain company vehicles and a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
