✅ Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 year of experience (preferred) in mobile refrigeration maintenance (DOT annual inspections & air brakes required)
- EPA 608 Type II or Universal (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and the required tools
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
🛠️ What You’ll Do
As a Reefer Technician, your role will involve a variety of important tasks, including:
- Preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APUs
- Brake replacements, suspension repairs, and DOT/FHWA inspections
- Diagnosing electrical systems & ABS brake system repairs
- Tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and flat repairs
- Structural repairs on trailers, rear door replacements, and washouts
- Troubleshooting APUs and providing road service calls
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop, as well as servicing company vehicles
- Safely operating forklifts, hoists, and other tools
- Performing additional duties and responsibilities as needed
