Transport Refrigeration Inc. (TRI), a trusted Thermo King dealer, is looking for an experienced Trailer Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform critical repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel and gas-powered industrial trucks and trailers—helping keep our customers’ equipment on the road and operating at peak performance.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and FHWA inspections
- Diagnose and repair trailer issues, including:
– Tires, lights, and trailer electrical systems
– Structural, body, and rear door repairs
– Refrigerated trailer foaming
- Complete road service repairs when needed
- Support company vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation and repair order details
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Represent TRA professionally with every customer and coworker interaction
✅ What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent; tech school a plus
- Mechanical repair experience (trailer, truck, or equipment repair)
- Welding and fabrication skills required
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and use shop equipment (ladders, creepers, hoists, forklifts)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (not a Monday–Friday 9–5 job)
- Clean, valid driver’s license and forklift certification (or willingness to earn it)
- Strong teamwork ethic and professional demeanor
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs
- Preferred Extras
- Current ASE certifications or willingness to obtain
- Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and inspection processes
