The 3rd Shift Production Lead oversees nightly operations of the die cutting and printing departments, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Wage starting at $35/hr
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Lead and supervise a team of production operators on the 3rd shift.
- Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Monitor die cutting and printing processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot machinery and escalate maintenance issues as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality control.
- Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in die cutting and/or printing.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of production workflows and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
