Transcend Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Representative to help expand our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care. In this key role, you will identify new referral sources, strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals, and grow community awareness of our services. This role requires a Business Development Representative to travel to our service areas of Morris County.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified referrals for hospice and palliative care services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and discharge planners.
Conduct educational presentations and attend outreach events to promote understanding of hospice care.
Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure a seamless referral and admission process.
Track outreach efforts and report on progress toward monthly and quarterly growth goals.
Serve as a resource both internally and externally by supporting the mission and vision of the organization, particularly as it applies to palliative and end-of-life care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or healthcare sales (hospice or home health preferred).Proven track record of building professional referral networks and meeting growth targets.

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in the field.
Must have a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation. You must be willing to travel throughout the service area.
