At Training Wheels ABA, we're growing and excited to expand our services to include speech therapy alongside the incredible ABA work already happening across our clinics and in-home programs.
We're looking for a Bilingual w/ Spanish Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who genuinely loves working with children and is excited to be part of a collaborative team focused on meaningful outcomes for clients and families. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, BCBAs, and RBTs in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
- Interest in collaborating with ABA teams and learning within a multidisciplinary setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting clients and families
- Bilingual with English and Spanish
- Ability to work in both clinic and in-home environments
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement treatment plans and therapy programs developed by the supervising SLP
- Collect session data and maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with SLPs, BCBAs, RBTs, and families to support communication goals across environments
- Assist with caregiver education and carryover strategies as directed by the supervising SLP
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, client-centered culture
- Support meaningful communication development that improves each child's independence and quality of life
