We are currently hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLP-As) for school-based opportunities in the Austin area. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about working in educational settings and supporting student communication development under the supervision of a licensed SLP. What You’ll Do As an SLP-A in a school setting, you will support the delivery of speech and language services to students while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include: Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP Support students in achieving IEP goals through structured interventions Assist with documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and support teams Provide services to students with a range of communication needs (articulation, language, fluency, etc.) Follow district guidelines and compliance standards What You’ll Need Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant through the Texas State Board Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field Valid Texas driver’s license (if travel between campuses is required) Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment & Flexibility Caseloads typically range from Pre-K through High School School-based, on-site positions Opportunities available for: Full-time placements Part-time schedules Placement based on your availability and district needs Why TX-STAR?
