The Accounting Assistant is an entry-level role designed for students pursuing a degree in Accounting. This position provides hands-on experience and exposure to key areas of accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL). The role supports the finance team with day-to-day tasks while building foundational accounting knowledge and contributing to projects across the department.

- Assist the General Ledger team with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and research projects
- Support process improvement initiatives across the finance function
- Assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with project-based work and daily activities as needed
- Help maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system
- Assist with data entry and account analysis
- Provide support during the month-end close process
- Communicate with internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and financial information
- Learn and follow company accounting policies and procedures
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Part-Time Position (approximately 25 - 30 hours per week)
