Planner/Scheduler III
Duration: 12 months (with a possibility of extension)
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Some travel to sites to see progress of projects (some travel to Canada required)
Department: supporting renewables - solar, wind, battery storage
projects spread throughout the country
team of 6 across Houston, Calgary, and Edmonton
new positions due to new projects
Responsibilities:
building new reporting dashboards from Power BI
own schedule end to end with minimal oversights
developing and maintaining realistic full integrated project schedule to align with project objectives
ensure the WBS and resource loaded are set up correctly, consistently across project
implement the earned value management, ensure earned value is accurate and schedule data show actual progress
key role in the contractor oversight - make sure contractor schedules are prepared, updated, and integrated with contract requirements across project standards
proactively communicate updates and risks to stakeholders
recommend realistic solutions
Skills:
industry experience open - renewables/oil & gas experience preferred
SME Primavera P6
field experience preferred
practical construction knowledge to show

Interview:
1st: virtual
2nd: onsite, also a P6 test added
