Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self driven Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the scheduling of Maintenance, Capital and Turnaround activities to ensure efficient execution. This position requires a strong understanding of Primavera and Industrial craft execution principles with the ability to forecast resource demand effectively. The Scheduler will work closely with various departments to optimize work crews and production planning.
Duties
- Develop and maintain schedules based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with site management teams to ensure priority of work scopes.
- Utilize SAP systems for effective scheduling of planned Work Orders and PM management.
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Analyze data to forecast future resource needs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with craft leads to ensure that work crew priorities align with scheduling requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of resource levels, production schedules, and any changes made.
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Mechanical crafts field execution.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP, MS Office and other relevant systems.
- Experience in mechanical planning and production planning processes.
- Excellent time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to forecast accurately using analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to quickly adjust to potential challenges in scheduling.
Requirements
- TWIC card required.
- Full-time on site position requiring 40 hours per week.
- DISA drug screen and level 1 background checks required for site entry.
