Job Overview – Project Manager (Construction / Manufacturing Focus)
This role is for a Project Manager who will lead construction projects, ideally with some manufacturing experience. The person will be responsible for making sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely, while keeping clients and teams happy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Construction Projects: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion.
- Budget Oversight: Handle project budgets, ideally $5 million or more. Make sure spending aligns with the plan.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Work with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and make sure your team does too.
- Customer Service: Be the main point of contact for clients; ensure they are happy and informed.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues early, fix them, and keep the project on track.
Must-Have Skills
- Construction Project Management Experience: Hands-on experience leading construction projects.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and execute projects efficiently.
- Manufacturing Experience: Helpful if the projects are industrial or involve manufacturing processes.
- Budget Management: Experience managing large budgets (preferably $5M ).
- Strong Communication & Customer Service Skills: Able to lead meetings, work with clients, and resolve conflicts professionally.
