Equipment Manager

Job Summary
- Assists coaches in issuing, collecting, and maintaining athletic equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
- Assists the Division Head and coaches in checking-in, marking, and storing new equipment.
- Assists in maintaining current equipment and supply inventories for physical education and athletics.
- Assists in organizing the equipment storage areas.
- Assists the Division Head in collecting delinquent equipment.
- Assists the Division Head, coaches, and trainers on the selection and purchase of new athletic equipment and supplies.
- Assists in the inventory, shipping and receiving of athletic uniforms and equipment sent out for cleaning and/or reconditioning.
- Performs necessary repairs to athletic and physical education equipment as needed.
- Assists the physical education teachers with equipment needs.
- Assists in the weekly inspection and maintenance of all athletic facilities.
- Performs towel and laundry services as needed.
- Prepares scorer/timer/announcer area for all home contests.
- Assists in the set up of all athletic contests.
- Assists with maintenance and inventory (5 hours per day).
- Performs custodial and maintenance work orders as required.
- Assists building personnel in snow removal operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Building and Grounds Administrator.
- Evidence of good organizational recordkeeping and inventory skills.
- Demonstrates capabilities in the use and repair of equipment.
- Good interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Evidence of good judgment, trustworthiness, and emotional maturity.
- Interest in athletics and physical education.
- Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.
