Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and performing carpet cleaning as needed to maintain a pristine appearance
- Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events, conferences, or special functions
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, organizing storage closets, and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained properly and stored safely after use
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding hospitality service that exceeds guest expectations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet extraction
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable to understand guest service standards
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion
