Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, handling waste disposal properly, and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed consistently
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing to keep floors spotless and well-maintained
- Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any repairs needed promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality or commercial environments is highly desirable
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality services is a plus
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and floor care equipment operation
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety procedures in cleaning practices
- Proven ability to handle laundry operations efficiently and with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests
- Previous experience managing housekeeping tasks in a busy setting is advantageous
- Reliable transportation
