We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at the TownePlace Suites in Hattiesburg, MS. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process reservations through phone systems and online platforms, ensuring all details are correctly entered.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing guest relations.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with FOSSE or other hotel property management systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
