What You’ll Do
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, music, storytelling, outdoor play, and creative learning experiences.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
- Communicate effectively with parents & guardians regarding camp activities
- Effectively manage the program and staff
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environment for young children.
- Experience working with preschool aged children (ages 3-5) required.
- Previous experience supervising staff or leading youth programs preferred
- Background in early childhood education, recreation, education, or related fields preferred.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain prior to program start)
- A positive, adaptable, and teamwork-driven attitude.
- Ability to actively participate in games and activities, lift program equipment and supplies (up to approximately 25 lbs), and work outdoors in summer weather conditions.
