What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Town Clerk position at Town of Manchester?
The Manchester Town Clerk is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated candidate to serve as an Assistant Town Clerk in the Town of Manchester, Vermont.
The 40-hour-per-week position offers a competitive benefits package and wages in a fast-paced working environment. The part-time position offers greater scheduling flexibility, and hours may be agreed upon by the Town Clerk and the Assistant Town Clerk. Pay based on experience, but generally in the range of $25-28/hour.
Assistant Town Clerks report to the Town Clerk and shall perform duties assigned by the Town Clerk in accordance with Vermont State Statutes and Town policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google applications is required. 2-3 years of office experience and knowledge of the Manchester area is preferred. Experience with COTT systems, land record research, or website design is ideal.
