The Town of Manchester, VT (population 4,300; 42.67 square miles) is accepting applications for two (2) Police Officer positions, one (1) Full and one (1) Part-Time.

Manchester is a picturesque town in the Battenkill River Valley between Bennington and Rutland in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and near three ski resorts. Full-Time Police Officer: Candidates with full-time officer certification preferred. Work schedule is four days on, four days off. Benefit eligible. The Town offers an extensive benefits package for full-time officers including medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, paid vacation days, participation in the Vermont Municipal Employees Retirement System (Group D), paid sick days, and bonus opportunities.
Part-Time Police Officer: Flexible work schedule is less than 30 hours per week.
Pay: $27.89 - $46.74 per hour
