Hours: Monday 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30am-6:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday 8:15am-5:15pm or 9:30am-6:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm Rotation on working Saturdays & Monday and Friday shifts.
Hiring Range- $24.82/hr - $31.02/hr
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for assisting in supervising and coordinating the daily operations of teller staff to ensure professional services to members. The Senior Teller ensures that established security and internal controls are observed by teller staff and, in absence of the Teller Supervisor, monitors overall cash needs for vaults, tellers and ATMs to ensure appropriate cash levels are maintained.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Assists with the supervision and coordination of the daily operations of the teller staff to ensure professional and efficient service to members; responsible for the accurate transaction processing and delivery of exceptional service to members and non-members.
- Performs teller transactional duties with a high degree of accuracy – see Teller Job Description
- Maintains an awareness of security risks in the areas of member identification, confidentiality and over physical branch security; assists Teller Supervisor to ensure that all established security and internal controls are observed by staff to include drawer, vault and ATM limits; cash counts are performed according to the prescribed audit procedures; makes exception decisions and assists tellers with complex transactions.
- In the absence of, or as directed by, the Teller Supervisor, responsible for the accounting accuracy of the branch through audits of teller drawers, teller cash dispensers, ATMs, vaults, and negotiable instruments; investigates out of balance conditions and recommends remedial action; anticipates branch cash needs; balances the branch at end of day.
- Participates in cash ordering, facilitating buys/sells to/from vault between tellers, teller cash dispensers, and ATMs.
- Assists tellers and members with interpretation of regulations and policies related to teller activities; maintains, and is able to present, an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services.
- Assists in the selection, motivation, and training of the teller staff. Participates in writing and delivering employee performance evaluations and written remedial actions.
- Troubleshoots basic technical issues for computers, ATMs, teller cash dispensers, coin machines, and remote teller station tubes prior to placing service calls.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two -year degree or 3 to 5 years related experience with a financial institution.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to lift coin bags up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate.
