What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at Tower Health?
The Purchasing Coordinator in Supply Chain Management performs:
- Analytical tasks in support of procuring and evaluating supplies and services and securing savings for Tower Health and its affiliates.
- Acts as a procurement expert and utilizes best practices and knowledge of internal or external processes to independently make business decisions to quickly address supply and service exceptions.
- Interfaces with various positions within the Supply Chain department, as well as Tower Health clinicians, leadership, physicians, peers and vendors as a primary liaison and support person.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Supply Chain Leadership.
