We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to transform complex data (currently in disparate systems) into meaningful, actionable insights that drive strategic and operational business decisions. The ideal candidate will design and develop dashboards, reports, and data models while collaborating with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations. This role involves working closely with executives, project managers, cross-functional teams, and vendor teams to design effective business solutions and improve core processes.
This role will initially partner closely with the CFO to transform data into insightful financial and managerial reports. This candidate will leverage the business knowledge and data familiarity s/he gains from this initial work to transition into the CIO organization to contribute to enterprise-wide data warehousing, analytics, and optimization initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns and business insights.
· Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and standardized reports using modern BI tools.
· Develop and maintain business models, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and analytical deliverables.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and then translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights.
· Translate business questions into data queries and analytical solutions.
· Convert complex business questions into data queries, algorithms, and actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
· Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and system evaluations to uncover inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
· Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytical platforms.
· Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
· Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide performance insights.
· Work with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and warehouse structures.
· Present analytical findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
· Support product and technology teams in implementing solutions that align with business goals.
· Special projects as needed and/or assigned.
