We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems
- Assist with processing Accounts Payable transactions
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Finance team
- Research and respond to internal and external financial requests
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Speak directly with clients and vendors to clarify billing issues, answer accounting questions, and ensure smooth financial operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
- Ability to discuss accounting matters clearly and professionally
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Proven reliability and punctuality in meeting deadlines and maintaining schedules
- Ability to quickly learn processes and software
- Experience in the construction/contracting industry is a plus
- Proficiency in SAMPro is a plus
